James received his BA from CSU Sacramento. Working as a TA for two years during his undergraduate studies, James developed an interest in teaching Fine Art. Currently, his work ranges from found object sculpture to painting and assemblage. James hopes to continue expanding his working lexicon while exploring the relationships between materials. He is interested in the various unexpected discoveries and revelations that come from a serious and sustained studio practice.
