The Davis Art Salon is a contest for the local art community created and hosted by the Art History Club.

Here is how it goes….

As a club we choose a theme for the salon-style show.
We advertise and receive submissions from the local community.
We put together a show of around 15 artists.
The local art community votes for their favorite piece.
The winner gets a two-week solo show organized by the club.
We start all over again next quarter!
