YOLOSOL COLLECTIVE
Telling Local Stories of Land and Water
Recently co-founded by PFS student Anuj Vaidya, in collaboration with Wintun culture-bearer Diana Almendariz, and Just Transitions organizer Juliette Beck, YoloSol is an intergenerational “artivist” collective dedicated to sharing stories of the pasts, presents, and futures embedded in the landscapes and waterways of the Yolo bioregion.
The collective centers the voices and stories of marginalized communities, especially Patwin-Wintun culture bearers, youth, and the diverse immigrant communities that make up the Yolo cultural tapestry. More information is available on their website at: yolosol.org
