Studio—6 hours. Prerequisite: courses 2, 7. Interpretation of landscape through painting, drawing, and related media. Emphasis on the integration of historical, cultural, natural, and artistic contexts. May be repeated for credit one time. Pass1 restricted Art Studio majors. GE credit: AH, VL.

Spring Quarter 2014: Students in Prof. Gina Werfel’s landscape class, Art 121, take advantage of good spring weather to work outside in the Storer Garden and other spots in the UC Davis Arboretum and at the Commons (near Whole Foods) in downtown Davis.
