Open indie arcade launches GameCamp!
Join us 5–7 pm Tuesday to find out more
Are you interested in making a game but are intimidated to try?
A new school year means a new GameCamp! Game Jam season. In preparation for GameCamp! Game Jam 2016, which will be held in spring quarter, we will be organizing a series of workshops in game design and development throughout the school year. All UC Davis community members are welcome to participate.
We are launching the season with an open indie arcade on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, from 5-7 pm in 234 Cruess Hall.
Come by to learn more about GameCamp! and our spring game jam. We will make available a curated set of indie games that showcase a range of ideas, mechanics, visuals, and goals in game design. There will also be snacks and refreshments. It is free to attend. Stop by anytime from 5-7pm.
We are particularly excited about welcoming Patrick LeMieux and Stephanie Boluk as facilitators for GameCamp!
Contact Josef Nguyen jddnguyen@ucdavis.edu or Amanda Phillips aphill@ucdavis.edu if you have questions, or see our facebook event page.
Funding and infrastructure for GameCamp is provided by Digital Culture’s ModLab and other sponsors and affiliates.
