“Every (Movie, Sound, Image, Text) on my cell phone,” Professor Darrin Martin’s 2009 video, is currently live streaming as part of the Digital Amnesia program curated by Montse Pujol Solà on the Impakt Channel. 

“Digital Amnesia” explores the relationship between memory and technology, from old archives and libraries up to social media induced memories.  Martin’s video “Every (Movie, Sound, Image, Text) on my cell phone” looks at how our memories can blur together if we mix up, with no particular order or selection. Is this memory or what we want to remember? What would happen if all these movies, sounds, images and texts disappeared, because the phone stopped working?
