Second-year graduate Kelley O’Leary (M.F.A., ‘22) has been interviewed and featured in on-off.site, an independent collective of San Francisco Bay Area artists. In her interview, O’Leary discusses her interdisciplinary project “Clouds of the American West” in which she “explores the physicality of the internet.” “Clouds of the American West” documents a trip across the western United States with visits to eleven data centers containing servers of digital information for corporations and governmental agencies, including Apple, Facebook, and the National Security Agency.
