The Global Game Jam!
Winter 2022
The UC Davis Game Dev and Arts Club is hosting the Global Game Jam online Jan. 28-30. The event begins on Friday, Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. (PST) and runs until Sunday, Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. (PST).
The Global Game Jam is a large game creation event which draws participants from all over the world. In it, teams collaborate to make games from scratch over a short 48-hour time period—all based on a secret theme. In GDAC, we will kick off the event by breaking up into small teams, support each other to make some cool and weird small games, then publish and show them off to each other!
This event is open to all participants: no game dev experience is required and all skills/discipline are welcome!
Artists, writers, musicians, designers, coders, and more are all an important part of the game dev process!
Time: 5PM PST Friday, January 28 to 5PM PST Sunday, January 30
Location: REMOTE on the GDAC discord: https://discord.gg/ZS8wfmc6ZC
