Professor Darrin Martin’s video “The Casts” will be shown in the ”Best of CUFF” (Chicago Underground Film Festival). CUFF will present a virtual festival featuring many past CUFF award winners, allowing CUFF attendees the chance to revisit all-time favorites. 

In “The Casts, ” three bearded men attempt to describe a series of cast objects in their hands. Relying only on their sense of touch, metaphors flow as fluid as the water that acts as backdrop to both their circularly framed images and the floating objects in question.

“The Casts” will be available for viewing starting July 27 at 10 pm (PDT). Passes are required to view the virtual festival and can be purchased here. Once available, viewers have 7 days to finish watching their viewdo.
