Annabeth Rose, Robert Arneson Endowed Chair in the Department of Art and Art History, has been named one of five 2020 American Craft Council Fellows. The council calls her “one of the preeminent ceramic sculptors in the 21st century.” 

Election to the College of Fellows recognizes a commitment “to honor those who have made an outstanding contribution to the crafts in America.” Artists must demonstrate leadership in the field, outstanding ability as artists and/or teachers, and 25 years or more of professional achievement as an American craftsperson.

In addition to Professor Rosen, artists Sonya Clark, Lisa Gralnick, Katherine Gray and Bob Trotman have been selected to join Rosen in the 2020 College of Fellows.
