Alum Julia Elsas (M.F.A. ‘09) new solo show “Above Ground” opened at the Available Items gallery in Tivoli, NY. “Above Ground” features Elsas’ sonic hand-built ceramic instruments and sound sculptures. Julia, along with her Sonic Mud collaborators Kenny Wollesen, Kirk Knuffe and Madeleine Ventrice, brought opening night alive with a performance using her hand-made instruments.

Above Ground will be on view to Nov. 16, 2025.
