Alum Aida Lizalde (B.A., ‘18, M.F.A., ‘23 from Virginia Commonwealth
University) has been awarded a 2023 Dedalus Master of Fine Arts Fellowship in Painting & Sculpture. The fellowship is awarded annually to four final-year students who are graduating from an MFA degree program in the United States. 

The Dedalus Foundation supports numerous fellowships and awards, including the Dissertation Fellowship, Senior Fellowship in Art History, MFA Fellowships in Painting & Sculpture, and scholarships for New York City High School Students, as well as the Robert Motherwell Book Award and Dedalus Foundation Exhibition Catalogue Award, to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of modern art and modernism.
