Curated by Paul Taylor (M.F.A. ‘11), “Drawn,” at 120710 in Berkeley features work by Taylor as well as alum Kelley O’Leary and Gracianne Kirsch. “Drawn” opened in March and will be on view until April 19. 

Taylor’s exhibition examines the drawing, something he describes as a primal act — “the act of building up lines on a surface to bring forth something we want to see.” His show includes the work of Jonathan Bachrack, Tanja Geis, Tracy Grubbs, Bec Imrich, Catherina Mackey, Sarah M. Newton, Nkiruka Oparah, Dean Smith, Selby Sohn, Andy Vogt as well as O’Leary, Kirsch and Taylor.
