Alum Kristin Hough and Julian Tan (both MFA 2016) participated in the Los Angeles launch of “SPRING/BREAK Art Show” this past February 15-17. SPRING/BREAK is an art fair that utilizes underused, atypical exhibition spaces to challenge the traditional art market environment. This first LA SPRING/BREAK was held in former produce stalls on East 8th Street and featured 40+ curated exhibitions of local emerging and established artists, non-profit organizations, independent curators, artist collectives and galleries.
