Alum Sandra Ono’s (B.A., ‘03) solo show “Flowers” opens at P.Bibeau in New York, featuring sculptures referencing the 1979 Greensboro Massacre and death of Ono’s namesake, Sandra (Sandi) Neely Smith. At the age of 29, Smith was killed during a ‘Death to the Klan’ protest against the continued racial injustice in Greensboro.

“Flowers” will be on view from October 28-December 18, 2021.
