In “BeautiFOAL”, alum Maija Peeples-Bright (MFA ‘65) presents paintings, ceramic sculptures, and works on paper from 1964 to 2020. Maija Peeples-Bright studied with Robert Arneson and William T. Wiley and is associated with the Funk Art and Nut Art movements. This survey is also accompanied by the artist’s first comprehensive monograph which features almost 200 color illustrations and essays by Cat Kron and Michael Duncan.
