Alum awarded Lighthouse Works Residency
Sofía del Pedregal (M.F.A. ‘22) has been awarded the Lighthouse Works Residency Fellowship. Sofia will be in residence from Aug. 26-Oct. 7 as part of Session 65.
The Lighthouse Works Residency Fellowship program, located on Fishers Island, NY, supports a diverse range of cultural producers working in the vanguard of their creative fields. Fellowships are six weeks in length, occur year-round and provide fellows with housing, food, studio space, and financial support. While in residence, the fellows’ primary obligation is to pursue their work. Fellows participate in two events—an Artist Talk and Open Studio—which bookend the fellowship. Given the size and intimacy of our program, everyone gets to know each other through our program. Thus the fellowship allows for conversation, critique, and collaboration.
