Allison Nakazawa graduated summa cum laude with college honors from California State University, Fresno in the spring of 2022. At CSU Fresno she interned in the Phebe Conley Gallery and was a student in the College of Arts and Humanities Honors Program where her honors thesis focused on the female patrons of the Italian Renaissance. She continues this thread, examining the intersection of women’s, gender, and sexuality studies and art history in the early modern period. Her current research investigates sapphic imagery in eighteenth-century British decorative arts.
