Graduate Srdan Tunic works to make street art accessible
First year Art History graduate student Srđan Tunić, along with his colleagues in Street Art Belgrade, have just completed a project dedicated to making street art accessible to blind and visually impaired individuals using 3D printing technology.
On October 15, Street Art Belgrade installed the first of two 3D models in Belgrade. The 3D models of murals allow blind and visually impaired people to experience street art through touch. Each model is accompanied by descriptions in braille. In addition to the models, Street Art Belgrade has completed a virtual reality exhibition as well as tours and open air lectures, and are now developing an exhibition looking at the history of graffiti in Belgrade.
