Srdan Tunic
M.A. Art History
Originally from Belgrade, Serbia, Srđan is excited to join the Art History department. He earned a BA in art history from the University of Belgrade and an MA in cultural management and policy from the University of Arts in Belgrade. Since 2011, he has been working as a freelance curator, organizing art exhibitions and educational projects. He has a passion for researching and writing about contemporary curatorial practices, street art, contemporary art, comics, science fiction, art appropriation, interculturalism, queer theory, African art, art education, among other areas of interest. Srđan is one of the cofounders of initiatives Street Art Walks Belgrade, Kustosiranje / About and Around Curating, and Trans-Cultural Dialogues. He also worked at the Museum of African Art in Belgrade as a curatorial associate and collaborator at Gallery Zvono.
