Professor Li is an International Visiting Scholar from the China Agricultural University where he is an Associate Professor in the Media and Communication Department.

His current research project concerns the Earthbound China in Movies (including Folklores and Life Style in Chinese Rural Films), and the narrative of Chinese film.
