Student explores The Intersection of Humanity and Technology at the 2025 URC
Art studio major Julietta Irace will participate in the UC Davis 36th Annual Undergraduate Research Scholarship and Creative Activities Conference on April 25-26. Julietta will present her painting “Motherhood” at the Arts and Design Exhibit from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, April 25 at the University Credit Union Center, UC Davis. Julietta is sponsored by Professor Robin Hill.
In a series of paintings and sculptures called “The Intersection of Humanity and Technology,” Julietta explores a future where AI, robots, and humans merge, reshaping fundamental aspects of life and considers how AI robots could become an integral part of human experiences.
Each year, UC Davis undergraduates in all academic fields are invited to submit an abstract and register to participate in the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Conference. Research projects must be conducted under the supervision of a faculty member or professional at UC Davis. The conference is designed to acquaint undergraduate students with the process and academic rigors of presenting research in a scholarly manner and in an affirming environment.
The conference is free and open to the public and runs from Friday, April 25-Saturday, April 26.
