Student examines the cultural meaning of color
Art history student Vivian Li presented her research on “Cultural Coding of Color: A Comparative Study of Eastern and Western Perspectives and Modern Applications” at the 36th Annual Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities (URSCA) Conference this past Friday.
Each year, UC Davis undergraduates in all academic fields are invited to submit an abstract and register to participate in the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Conference which acquaints undergraduate students with the process and academic rigors of presenting research in a scholarly manner and in an affirming environment. Vivian was sponsored by Professor Katharine Burnett.
