Gallery rosenfeld is presenting the first UK solo exhibition of Professor Shiva Ahmadi’s work. ”The Courage of Eve” will be on view from Feb. 22 to April 1, 2023 at the London based gallery.

Ahmadi’s works are inspired by the world of Persian miniatures and uphold a strong critique of the current political situation in her homeland. Her new body of work focuses on the plight of women caught up in the violence in the world. 

“The Courage of Eve” highlights Ahmadi’s works on paper but will also include on of her heavily engraved golden oil barrels (which was featured in the exhibition Epic Iran at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2021) and her animations.
