Professors presents paper at the Global HTC conference
MIT’s renowned History, Theory, and Criticism of Art and Architecture (HTC) program is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a landmark event that brought together scholars, alumni, and thinkers from around the world including Professors Talinn Grigor and John Lopez.
HTC alum Professor Talinn Grigor and Professor John Lopez participated in this event called the “Global HTC.” Professor Grigor presented her paper “”Of Hyphenated Architects” in a session on “Traveling epistemes” which explored how ideas and aesthetic programs move. Professor John Lopez discussed “Climate Lessons from Art History” in a session that looked at “Early modern global histories.”
“Global HTC” was held Friday, Oct.3-Saturday, Oct. 2 at the MIT Media Lab.
