Professor Gina Werfel is participating in the group show “Parabole of Unity” at LichtundFire in New York. This group exhibition presents the second constellation of artists introducing a series of exhibitions with work in various media created behind closed doors during the spring and summer of the pandemic of Covid-19. This exhibition brings together six artists — Jane Fire, Mark Kurdziel, Eveline Luppi, Robert Solomon, Alan Steele and Gina Werfel — with work uniquely distinct from one another, and ranging from abstraction to abstracted figuration. All six positions have their own individual approach to their medium while – beyond their compositions –emphasizing color. 

“Parabole of Unity” runs from September 17 to October 11, 2020. A viewing and outdoor reception will be held October 1 from 5:30-8 pm.
