Alum Manuel Fernando Rios’ (MFA, ‘11) new solo show at the Pence Gallery is a reflection on the complex nature of memory, how certain moments can hold both joy and pain, comfort and conflict. “Manuel Fernando Rios: When They Reminisce Over You” emerged from personal introspection from exploring the complexities of cherished memories and the struggles that often accompany them. Rios’ works ask questions about his history, cultural lineage, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead.

There will be an Opening Reception on Feb. 13, 6-9 pm and an Artist Talk  on Feb. 21, 2-3:30 pm which will be free for students and Pence Members, and $10 at the door for non-Members.
