Helia Pouyanfar (M.F.A., ‘22) has been included in Southern Exposure’s 31st Annual Juried Exhibition “Mirror Material.” Curated by Tiger Strikes Asteroid, this show celebrates hybridity of materials as well as identities. The works displayed reflect the diverse cultural, historical, and personal influences that inform our shifting identities. 

In addition to Helia, participating artists include Ahna Girshick, Alice Wu, Beril Or, Bussie Parker Kehoe, Emily Gui, Jonathon Bout, Laura Van Duren, Mary Morse, Morgann Nieto Parul Naresh, Rachel Pozivenec, Sanaz Safanasab, Sylvia Hughes-Gonzalez and Tianzong Jiang.

“Mirror Material” opens Saturday Oct. 22 and runs to November 19, 2022.
