Alum Elaine K. Ng’s (BA 1999) solo show “OVER/UNDER” at Interloc in Rockland, Maine opened Saturday, January 18. “OVER/UNDER” showcases Ng’s recent work developed from her exploration of materials, patterns, and their relationship to place. Mined from research done in Taiwan during 2017-18, these works combine, abstract, and transform commonplace things, reimagining them in different contexts to offer alternate interpretations of our material surroundings.

In March, Ng will begin her Guest Artist Residency at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York and and will display her “Antigravity” Rotunda Project at the Rockwell Museum, also in Corning, New York
