Alums Carmel Dor (BA 2015), Laura Rayburn (MFA 2015) and Wesley Bell-Miller (MFA 2015) are all participating in the “Axis 15th National Juried Exhibition” now on display at the Axis Gallery in Sacramento.

In February, juror Marcela Pardo Ariza, a visual artist and curator working in San Francisco, proposed an exhibition “on touch, intimacy and unintentional solitude in a time of oversaturated digital interaction.” Now, in this particular moment of health crisis and social uprisings, Ariza exhibition is an ”invitation to dive into the relatability of some of those feelings and the urgent need for change towards a future that is inclusive and caring of every single body.”

“Axis 15th National Juried Exhibition” will be on display until August 29th. The Axis Gallery is an artist run cooperative housed in the Verge Center for the Arts Building.
