Axis Gallery in Sacramento is exhibiting “Vessel / Fountain,” a solo show with recent works by alum Aida Lizalde (BA ‘18). “Vessel / Fountain” features Lizalde’s paper pulp works and mixed media sculptures dealing with power structures and exploring the idea of cultural identity and neo-colonialism through narrative and symbolism.
