Professor John Lopez at Viewing Topography Across the Globe workshop
Professor John Lopez presented “Renaissance Cartography and the Mapping of Environmental Crisis at Viceregal Mexico City” at the Viewing Topography Across the Globe workshop conducted at the John Carter Brown Library, Brown University on December 11, 2019.
This workshop was sponsored by the Cogut Institute for the Humanities, the John Carter Brown Library, and the Lewis Walpole Library, and was part of the programming for the Collaborative Humanities course, “Tracing Translations: Artistic Migrations and Reinventions in the Early Modern World.” It is also part of a series on topography organized by the Lewis Walpole Library at Yale University.
