Congratulations to first year graduate Maggie Harp who has been awarded a Travel Award from Grad Studies in support of her research project (and future thesis?) titled “Beth Alpha Zodiac Mosaic: Jewish Diasporic Reaction to Roman Rule and Pagan Motifs.”  Maggie will use this to conduct onsite research at Beth Alpha, a 6th Century synagogue located in Israel.
