Graduate Dada Wang awarded an ArtTable fellowship
Congratulations to Dada Wang (MA candidate, ‘22) on her ArtTable fellow award!
As an ArtTable fellow, Dada will work with the ArtTable partner institution the Museum of Chinese in America. This NYC-based museum does interdisciplinary and intersectional work – a combination of documenting ephemera, displaying modern and contemporary art, oral history projects, and grassroots organizing, the vast majority of which concern Chinese American histories and experiences. The Museum of Chinese in America works to combat systemic racism and explores what it means to be Chinese in the US in the present moment.
ArtTable is an organization that aims to promote the leadership of women in the arts. Their fellowship program aims to address the marked lack of diversity in arts employment by providing mentorship to female-identifying graduate students and emerging professionals from backgrounds generally underrepresented in the field to aid their transition from academic to professional careers.
