Alexandra Sofroniew participated in the Archaeological Institute of American (AIA) Conference in San Diego this past January 4th. As part of a session on ‘Archaeology and Ritual in the Ancient Mediterranean: Recent Finds and Interpretive Approaches,’ Alex presented “Samnite Hairstyles? Individual Agency and Ethnic Identity in the Choice of Votive Terracottas from Pre-Roman Sacred Sites.”
