Are you interested in a career in Art Conservation? Art History sponsors the UC Davis Art History in Florence: Conservation Training Fellowship. This fellowships takes place at the Institute for Art and Restoration, Palazzo Spinelli in Florence during the summer. Recipients must be art history majors.

The Institute for Art and Restoration organizes practical restoration courses in its laboratories and construction sites in Florence during the summer months. These courses give students the opportunity to approach the world of restoration through laboratory activities led by the IAR’s restoration teachers.
