Robin Fisher, lyric coloratura soprano, was featured in the solo cantata Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen! (BWV 51) at the Bravo Bach! festival at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Sacramento. She appeared as Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with Sacramento Opera (February 2009), and as Pamina in The Magic Flute with Townsend Opera Players (January 2009). Fisher won both a Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship and a Rotary Foundation Award to pursue studies in Europe, and received an Artist’s Diploma cum laude from the University of Vienna. She holds a DMA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. A native of California, she began her vocal studies at San José State University.

Burr Cochran Phillips, baritone, joined the faculty of the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in 2007, where he teaches private voice, vocal coaching, lyric diction and assists in the preparation of opera repertoire. Phillips has performed with the Dallas Symphony, Royal Philharmonic (London), and the symphony orchestras of Fort Worth, Honolulu, and San Antonio. He has taught at the Big Bear Lake Festival of Song (Big Bear Lake, CA) as well as the Taos Opera Institute (Taos, NM). He holds a master’s of music degree in vocal pedagogy and performance from Texas Christian University and a bachelor’s of music degree in vocal performance from the University of North Texas.

Daniel Lockert, piano, is equally versatile on the piano, organ, and harpsichord. He is a native of San Diego, California, where he began piano studies at the age of five. After getting his bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Loma Linda University, he attended the University of Southern California and obtained an advanced degree in accompanying, studying with Gwendolyn Koldofsky, a pioneer of the field. Lockert is also active as a cabaret pianist and singer, having collaborated with many San Francisco bay area performers. In Los Angeles and New York, he directed the musicals I Do! I Do! and Fiddler on the Roof. Lockert is a lecturer of collaborative piano at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California.
