William Meredith serves as director of the Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies at San José State University. Meredith is also the editor of The Beethoven Journal and has been awarded the German Academic Exchange Service Grant to research Beethoven’s sketches and other autographs at the Staatbibliothek Preussischer Kulturbesitz in West Berlin and at the Beethoven archive in Bonn, and also by the Smith Graduate Research Fund to assist in dissertation studies and research. Meredith is also an accomplished pianist and choral director.
