Dagenais Smiley plays 1st violin for the Stockton Symphony and serves as assistant concertmaster for the Modesto Symphony Orchestra and acting assistant concertmaster for the Sacramento Philharmonic. She received her master’s degree in violin performance from the University of Southern California and her bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Oberlin College.
