Lisa Rybovich Crallé’s (MFA 2011) second installment of “Heavy Breathing” — “Sappho and Sweat” — was reviewed in the New Yorker.

Crallé describes “Heavy Breathing” as “a summer series of free critical theory seminars in the form of absurd, artist-led conceptual fitness experiences.” The Heavy Breathing kickoff was held in San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts this June and will continue to the end of August.

The next offering of Heavy Breathing will be “Pre-Party Dance Party” with Brontez Purnell on August 8, from 8-9 pm at the Omni in Oakland.
