The UC Davis Fashion and Design Society (FADS) is offering an advance sale discount for its annual Picnic Day Fashion Show. Called “Impression/Expression” this year, this energetic runway show features garments created and executed by students in the Department of Design’s Signature Collections class.

There are two shows Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., in the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) Ballroom.  

Discounted advance tickets for either performance are available at $10 March 12 through 30 only at the UC Davis Ticket Office (located at Aggie Stadium) and online at design.ucdavis.edu. After March 30, tickets are $12 and, if available, $15 the day of the event.   

The College of Letters and Science has the only comprehensive department of design in the UC system. Along with fashion, the department has programs in graphic design, museum exhibition design, architecture and lighting and operates the UC Davis Design Museum. The department offers a bachelor’s degree and master of fine arts degree.
