A celebration of Della Davidson’s work and her vision of
cross-disciplinary performance as the University of California,
Davis officially names the Nelson Hall dance studio “The Della
Davidson Performance Studio.”
The naming ceremony will be preceded by a free dance workshop
from 1-4 p.m., open to all, conducted by Della’s former dancers
and long-time creative partners: Jane Schnorrenberg, Kerry
Mehling, Kegan Marling, and Eric Kupers.
The Della Davidson Performance Studio is in Nelson Hall on the
University of California, Davis campus. A reception will follow
the naming ceremony.
An additional dance performance space with a sprung maple floor
and flexible seating for as many as 65 people is located in
Nelson Hall (formerly the University Club).
