Arielle’s area of interest is the art of the ancient
Mediterranean, primarily that of Greece and Rome. She has a
background in Classical Civilizations, and is particularly
interested in the way the historical, political, and mythological
narratives shaped the art of these time periods.

essays to “For Future Reference, ” the online catalog for the
2014 MFA Art Studio exhibition. The exhibition for Art Studio
MFAs Brett Davis, Jamie Dunn, Daniel Harano, Jeff King, Rachel
Gelenius, Jacob Greenlund, Alyssa Lempesis and Joyce Nojima is at
the Nelson Gallery from May 31-June 21, 2014.
