“Flora the Red Menace,” the first collaboration between the creators of “Cabaret” and “Chicago,” will be resurrected by the UC Davis Department of Theatre and Dance. The musical by Tony Award winners John Kander and Fred Ebb will be presented in the Wyatt Pavilion Theatre Feb. 28 – March 9.
The Department of Theatre and Dance presents “Bacholerette” by Leslye Headland as an Institute for Exploration of Theatre, Dance and Performance (ITDP) production. The comedy, which explores the darker side of female friendships, is directed by undergraduate student Sarah Assaad.
The work will be performed March 8 at 7 p.m. and March 9 at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Lab A Theatre in Wright Hall.
New choreography created by graduate and undergraduate students is showcased in the winter quarter edition of “Outside the Lines.”
Running Thursday through Saturday, March 14 to 16 at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. performance on March 16, “Outside the Lines 2” is presented by the College of Letters and Science’s Department of Theatre and Dance in Wright Hall’s Main Theatre.
A costume rental service operated by the UC Davis Costume Shop, The Enchanted Cellar provides year-round costume rentals. The shop offers more Halloween selections than ever before and special hours for costume viewing and fittings.
