MFA Open Studios, Winter Quarter 2020
On March 6, the UC Davis MFA Art Studio graduate students invite all into their studios to see what they are working on and connect with others from the larger community. The event runs 6-9 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Both the main graduate art building, with 13 studios, and TB9, with 3 studios will be open and the artists will be present to talk about their work and practices.
The Art Studio MFA Program at UC Davis (http://arts.ucdavis.edu/art-studio-graduate-program) is a two-year, critically engaged studio program that provides an opportunity for interdisciplinary study in the visual arts. As part of a small tight-knit community, students explore a wide range of media and approaches to studio practice. Open Studios, exhibitions and a dynamic Visiting Artist Lecture Series (http://arts.ucdavis.edu/news-release/past-visiting-artist-lecture-series)are all key components of the program. Students are supervised by all members of the Art Studio Faculty (http://arts.ucdavis.edu/art-studio-people)
