DES 191C - Workshops in Design: Graphics
Temporary lecturer position for course DES 191C – Workshops in Design: Graphics, offered in the Department of Design. Curriculum to include faculty initiated workshops featuring advanced studies in Illustration and applications of original work in Design: Graphics. Letter grading by contract. Field trips included.
Design at UC Davis is unique within the University of California system and presents itself as a global model for design education with a research focus.
Applicants must have professional experience in a design field related to the curriculum.
Appointment Date:
The service dates are for Winter Quarter 2022: January 3 – March
18, 2022. The course is scheduled Monday / Wednesday from 4 p.m.
–7 p.m.
Qualifications:
Appropriate professional degree, e.g. MFA, or equivalent training
and professional experience.
Demonstrated teaching ability and experience. A developing record
of creative, scholarly, or professional achievement in an area of
expertise related to the subject area, as described in this
announcement.
Salary and Appointment Level:
Commensurate with degree and experience.
