Art created by Robin Hill, professor of art, and alumni Jeff Mayry (MFA 2016) and Robert Orbal is featured in the new exhibition “Monumental” at JAYJAY in Sacramento. The show runs through April 28. 

“Monumental” is an exhibit of large scale work that celebrates JAYJAY’s stable of modern and contemporary artists, including some artists new to JAYJAY. Many of these scholars frequently work in very large formats, but have limited opportunity to exhibit these efforts. “Monumental” aims to eliminate these boundaries and explore more specifically the experience of viewing large art, two and three dimensionally.
