For over two decades the Film Fest @ UC Davis has showcased hundreds of short films by student filmmakers. Now in its 23rd year, the festival is seeking submissions for the annual event to be held in spring quarter.

Open to all UC Davis students, the Film Fest committee is seeking works that are eight minutes or less in length and original screenplays ten pages or less in length. Submissions are open to all genres and styles, from narrative to documentary to experimental.

Submissions are now open through May 1 at 5 p.m.

The 2023 festival will be held on May 24 and 25 at a location to be announced.

The festival is co-sponsored by the Departments of Art and Art History, Cinema and Digital Media, Design, Music and Theatre and Dance.
