MA Candidate Noel Albertson on Tea and Japanese art

In conjunction with the 5th Annual Colloquium of the Global Tea Initiative for the Study of Tea Culture and Science, MA candidate Noel Albertson is co-curating a special exhibition at the UC Davis Conference Center on “Old Traditions, New Trends: Themes of Tea and Wine in Japanese Art.”  Visiting Scholar Chen Wang, a PhD candidate at Nanjing Normal University, is co-curator with ALbertson. This exhibition will present stunning objects related to tea, sake, and wine from various time periods.

The conference and exhibition will run January 16-17, 2020.
