Let’s Draw Davis Sketch Crawl Series Returns
The urban sketchers behind Let’s Draw Davis are pleased to announce the return of this enjoyable series on Saturday, Oct. 2, on the UC Davis campus.
Sketchers will meet at 1:00pm outside the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art on Vanderhoef Quad. Participants can sketch around the area, which includes the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, the Manetti Shrem Musuem, the Arboretum, the Alumni Center, the gardens in Vanderhoef Quad, the UC Davis Welcome Center, the Robert Mondavi Food and Wine Institute, and many more inspiring places.
The group will meet up again at 4:00pm outside the Manetti Shrem Museum to see what has been drawn, and look at each others’ sketchbooks (in a socially distant way of course).
The sketchcrawl is free and open to all who like urban sketching, all ages and levels welcome, and you can sketch individually or together as you prefer. All you need is something to draw with and something to draw on (and maybe something to drink). It’s always fun to see how other people draw, and always fun to look more closely at the world around us.
DATE: Oct. 2, 1-4 p.m.
